In the past, the noxious weeds program offered assistance to landowners to help manage their noxious weeds but it is unclear at this time if we will have capacity to continue to offer assistance. Do to fiscal limitations, Covid 19 issues and weather challenges we are not able to guarantee any of the past assistance efforts, thus leaving the landowners responsible for management efforts to comply with WAC 16-750. Per the law, landowners must prevent their noxious weed infestations from spreading. In the past we have been able to assist landowners in compliance of the law but we are currently not able to guarantee any assistance will be available in 2020.
