I live at 8460 sands Ave, across the street from the city water facility. At approximately 7:20 am, my peaceful morning was interrupted by a long sequence of vehicle backup noises. About 10 minutes later, a noisy weedwacker began operating. Still in my pajamas, I walked over there and pointed out to two gentlemen who seemed to be in charge, that those noisy operations so early in the morning were very disturbing. Why can’t they wait until at least 9:00?
The weedwacker briefly stopped but began again at. 7:55 and continued until at least 8:30, possibly longer but was then farther away.
This is the third time I have spoken to city workers about the noise at this city facility. It is really an issue caused by the city’s failure to enforce permit and code requirements at the “farm” of Crystal Rich, my neighbor to the south who has illegally removed the trees that formerly made a sound barrier that partially protected me from the noise of the city water facility.
My specific request is to make Crystal Rich replant the trees and shrubs she removed. In the meantime, have city workers wait till 9:00 to begin noisy activities. Thank you

6 large trees cut down in area designated as”retain forest” in the stormwater drainage plan supplied to city by Crystal and Yurie Rich in their request for a permit to clearcut their property to establish a farm.
